Brown Road Improvements

This project was identified in the Transportation system master plan as Urban Upgrade Project UU-03, and approved in the West Side Urban Renewal plan. 

The Brown Road Improvement Project provides upgrades that put Brown Road in closer alignment with current City standards for urban roads.The section of roadway to be upgraded extends from SW Wilsonville Road to SW Evergreen Drive. Anticipated upgrades improve connectivity by adding bike lanes, sidewalks, and turn lanes to provide better and safer access to adjacent neighborhoods.

The third open house for the Brown Road Improvements Project will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm on Dec. 3, 2025, at Inza R. Wood Middle School (11055 SW Wilsonville Rd.).

Community members are invited to drop in to learn about the design for the Brown Road Improvements Project and see how previous feedback helped shape the plans. The project team will share updated details and next steps as the project moves toward final design and construction.

This project continues to provide urban upgrades to Brown Road to more closely meet current City Standards. The section to be upgraded extends from SW Wilsonville Road to SW Evergreen Drive. Planned improvements include bike lanes and sidewalks that enhance safety and connectivity for all roadway users.
