Juneteenth Celebration

The City's sixth annual Juneteenth Celebration takes place on Friday, June 19, 2026, 5 - 8pm, at Town Center Park.
This family-friendly event has featured keynote remarks, music performances, food, activities and community organizations.

What to Expect:
- Music and speeches use amplified sound, throughout the event. (Ear plugs will be available.)
- The event is outside (rain or shine). There are some trees, but it is mostly a grassy field.
- Mobi-Mats, access mats, will be available onsite.
- Limited seating will be available, attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy performances and speeches.
- Activities, such as crafts, scavenger hunt, and yard games, are offered throughout the event.
- Food will be available onsite (limited quantities).
- The park is a public space and the water feature will be on during the event.
- There are onsite public restrooms.
- Event sponsors may have booths at the event.
- Crafts will be available (using materials such as crayons and paint)
- Community organizations and event sponsors may provide giveaway items and promotional materials.
- Limited onsite parking. Limited ADA parking and drop off area will be available at the Parks and Recreation Building parking lot on Park Place.
Getting to Juneteenth
Transit: SMART Transit goes directly to Town Center Park.
Car: Parking is available on Courtside Drive and at City Hall (29799 SW Town Center Loop).
